Workers, who have suffered a serious injury or have been off for long periods of time, would benefit from our work conditioning program. The purpose of work conditioning is to simulate your work as closely as possible in a clinic environment allowing you to strengthen your body and increase your tolerance to work activities. It consists of cardiovascular conditioning, flexibility, general strengthening and work simulation tasks. The program runs from 4 to 8 weeks with attendance three to five days per week, working from two hours up to a maximum of six hours/day.
The Active recovery clinic offers one and two day FAEs . This is a comprehensive assessment of the patient's functional capacities as they relate to the specific demands of the individual's occupational and/or Activities of Normal Living. The FAE can be conducted over one or two days for four hours per day depending on your needs. Our protocol uses standardized testing to ensure objective and reliable results.
