The Active Recovery Sports Injury and Rehabilitation Clinic

Welcome to the Active Recovery Clinic. We are a private multidisciplinary rehabilitation clinic that has been serving the Durham and Clarington region for over 15 years. We specialize in the assessment, treatment and functional restoration of injured people.

Our mission is to offer a unique multidisciplinary approach to the treatment of patients. Our primary goal is to return patients back to their pre injured level at work, home and sports.

The Active Recovery Clinic provides experienced and knowledgeable staff. We have immediate access, and convenient hours as well as two locations in order to serve our clients better. The Active Recovery Clinics are located in the Courtice Medical Centre as well as in the Taunton Medical Centre.

We have several different services available that can be accessed independently or combined to provide the most effective program for our clients.

We pride ourselves on the variety of equipment we have available to serve our client's rehabilitation needs. We have a full range of exercise equipment including strengthening, balance retraining and work/sport simulation as well as cardiovascular equipment. The Active Recovery Clinic also has a wide range of modalities including Ultrasound, interferentials, muscle stimulators, TENS machines, laser, biofeedback, wax bath and whirl pool.
